Early bloomers rock! ;) I still can't get over the hair pics! Remember butane curling irons on the band bus? God forbid we have a hair out of place before we sat out in the wind for two hours or put on our band hats! I remember I hated going to contest because we had to tuck our hair into our hats and couldn't have those 6 inch bows on our ponytails hanging out the back! HEE HEE!
That's when you had Rosanne or Rachel French braid your hair on the way because you could position your head just right into that hat so that the bangs came out okay when it was all over. It was all about the bangs. Take my word for it...I thought this through!
BTW, I also found those proofs from marching contest they sent every year. Now I wish I'd brought one home! =)
